WORD
Christ’s victory over death assures us of everlasting life.
ORDER
“Take this cup away from me, but not what I will but what you will.” (Mk 14:36)
PROPHECIES
1. I love you with My everlasting love; love one another and obey My will and I will lead you to the right path.
2. I am not far from you, I am your help and I will hasten to aid you.
DIRECTION
1. Evangelize and be a witness of God’s love so that many will be transformed.
2. Sustain your spiritual life through prayers, daily reading of God’s word, receiving the sacraments of confession and communion and doing works of mercy.
THEMES AND PROMISES
Week#1 (Palm Sunday)
Theme: We are assured of everlasting life when we allow the Lord to sanctify us through suffering.
Promise: “The Lord God is my help, therefore I am not disgraced.” (Is 50:7)
Week#2 (Easter Sunday)
Theme: We are assured of everlasting life when we rise above our sinful nature.
Promise: “When Christ your life appears, then you too will appear with him in glory.” (Col 3:4)
Week #3 (2nd Sunday of Easter)
Theme: We are assured of everlasting life when we believe that Jesus is the Son of God.
Promise: “…through this belief you may have life in his name.” (Jn 20:31b)
Week #4 (3rd Sunday of Easter)
Theme: We are assured of everlasting life when we open our minds to understand the word of God and act on it.
Promise: “Whoever keeps his word, the love of God is truly perfected in him.” (1 Jn 2:5a)
Week #5 (4th Sunday of Easter)
Theme: We are assured of everlasting life when we lay down our life for others.
Promise: “There is no salvation through anyone else… (but only) in the name of Jesus Christ.” (Acts 4: 10 & 12)
