THEMES AND PROMISES

Week#1 (18th Sunday in Ordinary Time)       
Theme:  We believe in the Lord when we rely on His love and compassion.
Promise: “Come to me heedfully, listen, that you may have life, I will renew with you the everlasting covenant, the benefits assured to David.” (Is 55:3)

Week#2 (19th Sunday in Ordinary Time)
Theme:  We believe in the Lord when we trust in Him and confidently proclaim His word.
Promise: “The Lord himself will give his benefit; our land shall yield its increase.” (Ps 85:12)

Week#3 (20th Sunday in Ordinary Time)  
Theme:  We believe in the Lord when we have unwavering faith.
Promise: “Let it be done for you as you wish.” (Mt 15:28b)

Week#4 (21th Sunday in Ordinary Time)    
Theme:  We believe in the Lord when we proclaim Jesus as the Son of the Living God and help build His Church.
Promise: “…upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of the netherworld shall not prevail against it.” (Mt 16:18b)

Week#5 (22nd Sunday in Ordinary Time)
Theme:  We believe in the Lord when we are transformed to think and act like Jesus.
Promise: “For the Son of Man will come with his angels in his Father’s glory, and then he will repay all according to his conduct.” (Mt 16:27)
