WORD
Disciples of Jesus prepare for His coming with watchfulness.
ORDER
“Be watchful! Be alert! You do not know when the time will come.” (Mk 13:33)
PROPHECIES:
1. Always be ready for you do not know when it is time. Repent of your sins and persevere so you will rejoice with Me in My glory.
2. I know the right time to bless you and answer your every prayer. For I am God, your Father, and I am faithful to My promise.
DIRECTIONS:
1. Receive the sacraments frequently, striving to be in the state of grace always.
2. Be a source of inspiration and comfort to others especially in this season of Advent.

THEMES AND PROMISES
Week#1 (1st Sunday of Advent)
Theme: Disciples of Jesus prepare with watchfulness when we allow the Lord to mold us in his likeness.
Promise: “He will keep you firm to the end, irreproachable on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.” (1Cor 1:8)
Week#2 (2nd Sunday of Advent)
Theme: Disciples of Jesus prepare with watchfulness when we acknowledge our sins and reform our lives.
Promise: “The Lord himself will give his benefits; our land shall yield its increase.” (Ps 85:12)
Week#3 (3rd Sunday of Advent)
Theme: Disciples of Jesus prepare with watchfulness when we testify to the light so that all might believe in Him.
Promise: “He has come to help of his servant Israel for he has remembered his promise of mercy.” (Lk 1:54)
Week#4 (4th Sunday of Advent)
Theme: Disciples of Jesus prepare with watchfulness when we are humble and obedient according to His word, like Mary.
Promise: “…nothing will be impossible for God.” (Lk 1:37)
Week#5 (Feast of the Holy Family)
Theme: Disciples of Jesus prepare with watchfulness when we take care of our family and our community.
Promise: “I am your shield, I will make your reward very great”. (Gn 15:1b)
