THEMES AND PROMISES
Week#1 (1st Sunday of Advent)
Theme: We believe Jesus Christ is our way to salvation when we remain vigilant as we await His coming.
Promise: “I will fulfill the promise I made to the house of Israel and Judah.” (Jer 33:13b)
Week#2 (2nd Sunday of Advent)
Theme: We believe Jesus Christ is our way to salvation when we repent of our wrongdoings and ask for forgiveness.
Promise: “Those who sow in tears shall reap rejoicing.” (Ps 126:5)
Week#3 (3rd Sunday of Advent)
Theme: We believe Jesus Christ is our way to salvation when we are filled with hope in Him and bring our expectations to others.
Promise: “The peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.” (Phi 4:7)
Week#4 (4th Sunday of Advent)
Theme: We believe Jesus Christ is our way to salvation when we accept and obey the will of God in our lives.
Promise: “Blessed are you who believed that what was spoken to you by the Lord would be fulfilled.” (Lk 1:45)
Week#5 (Feast of the Holy Family)
Theme: We believe Jesus Christ is our way to salvation when we allow Him to be at the center of our family life and activities.
Promise: “For you shall eat the fruit of your handiwork, blessed shall you be and favored.” (Ps 128:2)
