DIRECTIONS
1. During the season of Lent:
• Devote time for reflection and meditation on God’s word and live it.
• Go to confession and receive Holy Communion regularly.
• Persevere in prayer and visit the Blessed Sacrament.
2. Strengthen your intimacy with God by loving, caring, helping and giving alms to the needy.
3. Make a simple act of kindness to make a difference in the life of a sister or a brother.
4. Imitate Christ by denying yourself, taking up your cross and following His ways.
THEMES AND PROMISES
Week#1 (3rd Sunday of Lent)
Theme: We embrace Christ’s work of redemption by keeping God’s commandment.
Promise: “The law of the Lord is perfect, refreshing the soul…giving wisdom to the simple.” (Ps 19:8)
Week#2 (4th Sunday of Lent)
Theme: We embrace Christ’s work of redemption by believing in Him and living His truth.
Promise: “…everyone who believes in him may have eternal life.” (Jn 3:15)
Week#3 (5th Sunday of Lent)
Theme: We embrace Christ’s work of redemption when we follow Him and serve His people.
Promise: “When I am lifted up from the earth, I will draw everyone to myself.” (Jn 12:32)
Week#4 (Palm Sunday of the Lord’s Passion)
Theme: We embrace Christ’s work of redemption when we share in His suffering.
Promise: “The Lord God is my help, therefore I am not disgraced…I shall not be put to shame.” (Is 50:7)
Week# (Easter Sunday: The Resurrection of the Lord)

Promise: “When Christ your life appears, then you too will appear with him in glory.” (Col 3:4)
