1.Be reconciled with God by going to confession regularly, especially during the Lenten season.
2.Deepen your faith through prayer, fasting and generous alms giving.
THEMES AND PROMISES
Week#1(1st Sunday of Lent)
Theme: We overcome temptation when we fast, pray and stand on God’s word.
Promise: “… through the obedience of the one, the many will be made righteous.” (Rom 5:19b)
Week#2(2nd Sunday of Lent)
Theme: We overcome temptation when we listen to God’s voice.
Promise:“I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you.” (Gn 12:2)
Week#3(3rd Sunday of Lent)
Theme: We overcome temptation when we do the Father’s will.
Promise: “Whoever drinks the water I shall give will never thirst.” (Jn 4:14a)
