I would like to greet and express my best wishes to the Bukas Loob sa Diyos Community. The Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines has designated the Liturgical Year 2017 as the Year of Parish as Communion of Communities. This points to the importance of the Basic Ecclesial Communities as our way of uniting people, our communities, neighborhoods, associations, and apostolate around the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
I encourage Bukas Loob sa Diyos members to be an image of God in his love for the most needy brothers and sisters in your respective districts. May you be able to identify some occasions to do so and to practice this in order to create communion of communities.
